The effectiveness of digital infrastructure is demonstrated by concrete figures: in 2025, the iOffice system processed over 10,000 sent documents and over 240,000 received documents via the National Interconnection Platform. The CaMau-G application attracted over 40,000 installations, integrated nearly 50 utilities, and became an effective interaction channel between the government and the people. The entire province currently maintains more than 10,000 digital signatures for official use and nearly 130,000 public digital signatures for organizations, businesses, and individuals.
The spirit of digital transformation in the province has also spread strongly through activities in response to the National Digital Transformation Day with the theme: "Digital transformation for all people, comprehensive and complete, to accelerate and break through the development of the digital economy"; the "Digital literacy movement"; the "National Digital Learning Day"; the "Going door to door" campaign of community digital technology teams, guiding people to use public services, integrating electronic health records on VNeID and exploiting the "Digital School Record" platform... These activities, combined with competitions and exhibitions on science and technology, innovation and digital transformation; introducing digital products, models, services, solutions, digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) have contributed to raising awareness of digital transformation among the people.
Simultaneously, press and media agencies in the province have coordinated to effectively carry out timely, creative, and efficient information and propaganda work, contributing to the strong dissemination of the digital transformation spirit and affirming the determination of the political system and people of Ca Mau in the process of building a digital government, digital citizens, and a digital society.
Breakthrough action
Assessing the results of the digital transformation implementation over the past period, Comrade Huynh Quoc Viet, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Standing Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee on Science and Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation, acknowledged the efforts and determination of departments, localities, businesses, organizations, and individuals in implementing Resolution 57. He requested that heads of Party committees and local governments increase their attention to the development of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation; using the tasks and solutions of the Central Government and the provincial plan as a guiding principle. At the same time, he emphasized identifying the people and businesses as the central and key actors in digital transformation; linking science and technology with the province's potential and advantages; and focusing on training and fostering a high-quality workforce to meet the province's development requirements in the new phase.

The Hoa Binh commune police assist residents in using digital services (issuing and managing citizen identification cards and verifying electronic identity).
In response to General Secretary To Lam's request for "breakthrough actions in science, technology, and digital transformation," Ca Mau province is determined to accelerate comprehensive digital transformation, taking breakthrough actions in line with the rest of the country to steadfastly achieve the set goals. The province is focusing on reviewing, adjusting, and issuing new legal documents and mechanisms to encourage and support the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, in accordance with the two-tiered local government model. It is also innovating its governance methods based on data; effectively implementing a system for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of Resolution 57 on the platform https://nq57.vn, ensuring transparency, timeliness, and synchronization across all levels and sectors.
Mr. Pham Thong Nhat further informed: “Ca Mau will continuously innovate and modernize the process of receiving and resolving administrative procedures, focusing on serving the people and businesses. We will promote the connection and sharing of digital data, providing online public services throughout the entire process, openly, transparently, conveniently, and without dependence on time or location; contributing to building a professional, honest, modern, and efficient digital government. This will focus on digital platforms such as: the online public service portal; the document management and operational system; electronic files; online meeting software; paperless meeting rooms; digital signature applications, digital signatures, and shared databases...”.
In 2026, Ca Mau will upgrade and complete its intelligent monitoring and control center (IOC) and provincial data center. It will deploy digital platforms and services to serve citizens and businesses; develop a comprehensive digital infrastructure; and apply virtual assistants in government agencies to support officials and civil servants in improving efficiency and productivity. Simultaneously, it will continue to develop digital infrastructure until 2030, maintaining and enhancing the capacity of the dedicated data transmission network from the province to the commune level, creating favorable conditions for telecommunications businesses to expand 4G and 5G coverage and improve access speeds.
With synchronized preparation in infrastructure, digital skills, and strong political determination, the entire province is acting towards a digitized, innovative, and far-reaching Ca Mau, moving steadily forward with the country in the new era.
