The launch ceremony of the “Private Banking Implementation Consulting Project” marks a significant step in the journey to improve service quality and meet the growing needs of the high-net-worth (HNWI) client segment, with the support of Bain & Company – a leading international consulting partner with extensive experience in building and implementing Private Banking models in developed and developing markets.
In her opening remarks, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Member of the Board of Directors and Head of the Project Steering Committee, affirmed the importance of the project in Vietcombank's development strategy until 2030, aiming to build a comprehensive, specialized, and internationally standardized personal financial service model for the high-end customer segment. The project will include phases of surveying the current situation, designing, and implementing Private Banking and Wealth Management.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vietcombank Chairman Nguyen Thanh Tung emphasized: “Implementing Private Banking and Wealth Management is one of Vietcombank’s strategic initiatives, realizing Vietcombank’s commitment to accompanying customers on their journey to increase their assets, as well as demonstrating Vietcombank’s vision to affirm its position as “Vietnam’s No. 1 financial group, making a significant contribution to the sustainable development of the nation,” especially in the era of national growth. The leadership believes that this project will be successful in the near future and will truly bring practical results, and will soon be implemented and applied throughout the Vietcombank system.”

Representing the 8 branches participating in the project, Mr. Dang Kien Dinh, Director of Vietcombank's Transaction Department, pledged to dedicate the best resources to the project, from branch leaders to staff, with the goal of successful implementation on schedule, bringing added value to customers and Vietcombank.
In response to the expectations of Vietcombank's leadership, Mr. Wade Cruse, CEO of Bain & Company Southeast Asia, committed that the consulting firm would work alongside Vietcombank and coordinate with members of the Project Implementation Team, departments at the Head Office, and Vietcombank branches to successfully implement the Private Banking Implementation Consulting Project as expected by the leadership.

At the conclusion of the project launch ceremony, the Vietcombank leadership, representatives from the consulting firm Bain & Company, and leaders from departments/divisions/centers at the Head Office, along with members of the implementation team, expressed their determination and commitment to working together to complete the Private Banking implementation consulting project on schedule and to the quality standards expected by the leadership. This reaffirms Vietcombank's commitment to providing comprehensive financial solutions, contributing to enhancing customer experience, and maintaining its position as a leading bank in Vietnam.
