Vietcombank launches the project "Consulting on implementing Private Banking"

The launching ceremony of the “Private Banking Implementation Consulting Project” marks an important step in the journey to improve service quality and meet the increasing demands of the high-net-worth customer segment (HNWI) with the support of consulting firm Bain & Company - a leading international consulting partner with extensive experience in building and implementing Private Banking models in developed and developing markets.

In her opening speech at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Member of the Board of Directors and Head of the Project Secretariat, affirmed the importance of the project in Vietcombank's development strategy until 2030 with the goal of building a comprehensive, specialized and internationally standardized personal financial service model for the high-end customer segment. The project will include the stages of surveying the current situation, designing and implementing Private Banking and Wealth Management.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietcombank Nguyen Thanh Tung emphasized: “Implementing Private Banking and Wealth Management is one of Vietcombank's strategic initiatives, realizing Vietcombank's commitment to accompany customers on the journey of increasing assets, as well as demonstrating Vietcombank's vision to affirm its position as "Vietnam's No. 1 financial group, contributing greatly to the country's sustainable development", especially in the era of the country's rise. The Board of Directors believes that this project will be successful in the coming time and truly bring practical results, soon deployed and applied throughout the Vietcombank system".

Representing 8 branches participating in the project, Director of Vietcombank Transaction Office Dang Kien Dinh, representing the branches, committed to dedicating the best resources to the project from branch leaders to staff with the goal of successfully implementing it on schedule, bringing added value to customers and Vietcombank.

Responding to the expectations of Vietcombank's Board of Directors, Mr. Wade Cruse, Managing Director of Bain & Company Southeast Asia, committed that the consulting unit will accompany Vietcombank and coordinate with members of the Project Implementation Board, departments at TSC as well as Vietcombank branches to successfully implement the Private Banking Implementation Consulting Project according to the expectations of the Board of Directors.

At the end of the project kick-off ceremony, Vietcombank's Board of Directors, representatives of the consulting unit Bain & Company and leaders of Departments/Offices/Centers at TSC and members of the Implementation Board expressed their determination and commitment to make concerted efforts to complete the Private Banking implementation consulting project on schedule, meeting the quality expectations of the Board of Directors, affirming Vietcombank's commitment to providing comprehensive financial solutions, contributing to improving customer experience and maintaining its position as the leading bank in Vietnam.
