In 2024, VietinBank's retail operations have continuously achieved positive business results such as: Safe and effective credit growth in the direction of focusing on production and business strengths; growth in CASA deposits, shifting the structure of short-term deposits, growth in foreign currency deposits, etc. In addition, the Bank also promotes medium -term and long-term lending on the basis of flexibly implementing competitive credit programs/products; meeting the needs of each customer segment (KH) / specific regions . In the digital transformation journey, VietinBank is a pioneer in applying digital technology to business operations, bringing customers the best products and services (SPDV). In 2024, VietinBank had 16 digital transformation initiatives deployed and widely applied across the bank, directly targeting retail customers. Initiatives to apply models and data analysis, machine learning in identifying potential customer files, building customer journeys, suggesting products and services based on customer profiles and implementing sales activities with new methods to optimally support the sales and customer care teams. Or the feature of Online Disbursement for Business Loans allows customers to borrow business loans online on Vietin Bank iPay Mobile with a limit of up to 500 million VND/day without having to go to the bank , simple digital signature without having to complete hard copies of documents and receive disbursement immediately . After 3 months of implementation , the feature has recorded nearly 16 thousand successful online disbursements with a disbursement turnover of 4.2 trillion VND . Other features such as : Online unsecured loans; installment registration for online credit card spending transactions... continuously launched by VietinBank have created trust and increased customer satisfaction. With the advantage of being the first Vietnamese bank to have a branch in Germany , VietinBank has deployed SPDV, utilities for domestic and foreign customers; including German Locked Account . This is a payment account (TT) in EUR opened and locked by VietinBank German Branch to prove financial capacity for customers who need to apply for a visa to stay in Germany in the form of a blocked account (Sperrkonto) according to the regulations of the German Embassy in Vietnam. This is one of the mandatory conditions when applying for a German student visa to ensure sufficient living expenses during the study period in Germany . The product has brought outstanding benefits to customers when using it. Specifically: Customers can open a TT account at nearly 1,000 VietinBank transaction offices nationwide; in a short time, customers have a TT account, a balance confirmation to supplement the visa application. Currently , VietinBank is the only Vietnamese bank providing this service to customers who need to apply for a visa to stay in Germany .
