On July 31, within the framework of the Vietnam - India Business Forum held in New Delhi, Vietjet was pleased to welcome its 200 millionth passenger and announced a new route Ahmedabad - Da Nang.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the delegation of senior leaders and business communities of the two countries congratulated Vietjet on welcoming 200 million passengers and welcoming the new route during the Prime Minister's state visit to India.
Vietjet's 200 millionth passenger was an Indian businessman - Mr. Sandeep Mehta. Vietjet gave the special passenger 1 year of free international flights.
On this occasion, Vietjet also announced the opening of a route connecting Ahmedabad, India, with Da Nang - the most livable city in Vietnam. The new route is expected to serve passengers from October 2024.
