In preparation for the increased travel demand at the end of the year, Vietnam Airlines Group (including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and VASCO) has officially opened early ticket sales for Lunar New Year 2026.
Accordingly, the peak period lasts from February 2 to March 3, 2026 (ie from December 15 to January 15 of the lunar calendar), with a total of more than 3.5 million seats sold on the entire domestic and international flight network, an increase of nearly 20% over the same period last year.

Vietnam Airlines Group will continue to monitor market demand, balance aircraft resources and allocate slots (take-offs and landings) to open sales in the next rounds, helping people more conveniently plan their travel during Tet.
As usual, peak flights will be concentrated between three major cities, including: Hanoi , Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and key localities such as: Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Hue, Quy Nhon, Cam Ranh, Phu Quoc..., in which, the number of seats supplied on the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City route increased by nearly 18%, the Ho Chi Minh City-Da Nang route increased by nearly 9%, the flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Hue increased from 9-13% compared to the same period.
