
This is the airline's first direct flight connecting Vietnam with the famous seaside city of Cebu, offering another attractive option for Vietnamese tourists and contributing to the promotion of tourism , trade, and cultural exchange between the two countries.
With this route, passengers no longer have to endure 6 to 8-hour layovers, but instead can fly directly for just 3 hours, with baggage checked in only once.
To celebrate its launch, Vietnam Airlines is offering many special promotions. Round-trip economy class fares start from VND 5,664,000, and business class fares from VND 24,440,000, including taxes and fees. Passengers who book their tickets early, until February 28, 2026, for travel between December 1, 2025, and February 28, 2026, will enjoy these discounted prices. Additionally, passengers will receive one free checked baggage allowance and earn reward miles depending on their class of travel.
Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates 9 regular flights per week from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Manila. The addition of 3 direct flights per week from Hanoi to Cebu brings the total number of flights operated by Vietnam Airlines between Vietnam and the Philippines to 12 per week.
