According to the agreement, the two sides will coordinate to deploy a series of advanced technology solutions such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing, Big Data, Blockchain, IoT and digital platforms for businesses.
The application of these technologies aims to optimize operational efficiency, increase competitiveness and enhance passenger experience at every touchpoint.

Vietnam Airlines is currently launching a project to build a new generation e-commerce platform, a strategic step in the path of comprehensive digitalization. The new system is expected to bring a smoother, more personalized and smarter experience to customers, while expanding the service ecosystem and promoting ancillary revenue growth.

The content of this cooperation includes: deploying AI solutions in customer interaction, automation and content personalization; building a customer data management platform (CDP), chatbot, voicebot, comprehensive CRM, ERP system, internal self-service platform and mobile e-commerce application; along with a flexible cloud computing infrastructure and data center system, easily scalable according to demand.
In particular, the two sides committed to jointly invest in development, co-own intellectual property and share revenue from new technology products serving aviation activities, with the potential to expand into regional and international markets.
In addition to digital transformation content, Vietnam Airlines and FPT will also integrate the loyalty system between the two sides, allowing Vietnam Airlines members to use bonus miles to redeem products and services in FPT's education, technology and retail ecosystem.

At the same time, this cooperation also contributes practically to the implementation of Resolution No. 57 of the Party, identifying science, technology and innovation as the pillars of national development in the new period.”

Also at the event, FPT Technology Director Vu Anh Tu made 5 proposals to turn Vietnam Airlines into the leading digital airline in the region, including: establishing an AI Innovation Lab; building a technology platform to create new, personalized experiences for customers; transforming cloud infrastructure; developing AI Agents and training AI for Vietnam Airlines staff.

Notably, FPT has accompanied Vietnam Airlines in organizing the Internal Digital Transformation Day and successfully supported the hosting of the first IATA World Safety and Operations Conference in Vietnam in 2023.
Through this cooperation event, Vietnam Airlines affirms its determination to develop sustainably associated with innovation, while actively implementing Resolution No. 57 of the Party on science, technology and innovation - important growth pillars of the country in the coming period.
Currently, FPT is a prestigious technology partner in the global aviation industry. FPT's extensive cooperation network includes major airlines in Europe, the United States and the Asia-Pacific region.
The company also serves more than 100 customers in the aviation sector, including airlines, airports, cargo operators and aircraft manufacturers.
