Viettel signs cooperation agreement with Intel within the framework of activities at MWC 2024
Viettel and Intel will develop concepts, conduct field trials, and deploy commercial services for product lines and solutions in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), 5G, smart devices, computing platforms, and data centers. Intel will accompany Viettel to provide technical advice, jointly optimize performance, and give Viettel early access to Intel's newly developed hardware/software during the cooperation process.
Accordingly, the two sides will deploy four specific areas, including: research and development of AI and 5G technology and solutions; research and development and production of smart devices and computing platforms; initiatives to deploy optimal data center infrastructure dedicated to AI and 5G; strengthening cooperation in exchanging senior leaders in technology and training, developing common ecosystems and accessing new markets. These are the world's leading important technology platforms today, helping the two sides prepare for the explosive development phase of digital infrastructure serving the digital society.
