Viettel 's Stars 2022 honors 10 individuals and 10 groups that not only successfully completed production and business tasks but also inspired the spirit of service, creativity, and overcoming difficulties at work. These are outstanding examples selected from nearly 70,000 employees, from member units and 10 international markets, in 4 fields: Telecommunications; Information technology solutions and digital services; Research on high-tech industrial production; Global delivery, logistics and trade.
In the context of general difficulties around the world , Viettel has determined to stick to its set goals, turning 2022 into a year that creates many impressions in business, innovation, exploring new spaces and achievements at the national level after the pandemic period. Viettel has completed all the numerical targets on revenue, profit, contribution to the State budget, pioneered in taking on many major tasks of the country, taken the lead in technology research, and taken care of the lives of officers and employees better and better.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Tao Duc Thang , Chairman and General Director of Viettel Group shared: “Viettel's Stars 2022 honors outstanding collectives and individuals in all sectors and fields; in departments, offices as well as the front line; as employees, experts or managers; both domestically and internationally. All represent the heart and love for Viettel, for the country, all represent the will to rise up, break out of one's comfort zone, seek new ways of doing things, work enthusiastically and constantly innovate from the smallest, most ordinary things every day to projects and projects of national and international stature".
Held for the 13th time, Viettel's Stars is an annual event to recognize and honor outstanding collectives and individuals who demonstrate their efforts to compete beyond their own limits, accept hardships, and are determined to overcome difficulties, creating value and contributing to the development of Viettel.
This is also an activity that Viettel carries out according to the plan of the Central Emulation and Reward Council to organize the implementation of Directive No. 19/CT-TTg dated July 16, 2021 of the Prime Minister on launching emulation to successfully carry out the socio -economic development tasks in 2021 and the 5-year Plan (2021-2025) according to the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party.
Viettel is accelerating in the 4th development phase to become a high-tech industrial group . Currently, Viettel has explored many new spaces, entered many fields, the scale and stature of the group is growing larger. Therefore, in 2022, 10 outstanding collectives and individuals were selected instead of 8 as in previous years.

1. Electronic Warfare Information Center - Viettel High-Tech Industry Corporation : exploring new spaces, exceeding revenue targets for 2022, leading in new technology research, granted 7 exclusive patents, including 2 exclusive patents in the US, successfully researching and manufacturing 4 new products, including 2 excellent products.
2. Viettel Aerospace Institute (VTX): Successfully completed its business tasks, this was the first year VTX had revenue and reached 1,070 billion VND. Excellently completed the tasks of researching, manufacturing, testing, accepting, and producing high-tech defense products...
3. Viettel Cambodia Company: Proactively seeking new space, helping the company complete all targets with a growth rate of 7.2%, FTTH subscribers grew dramatically, continuing to widen the gap in market share with the second competitor, in the context of a highly saturated market and fierce competition.
4. Viettel Thanh Hoa Construction Branch : Leading in operation and exploitation in the group of 15 large-scale provinces in terms of network infrastructure. Completed 110% of the 2022 plan.
5. Viettel Cloud Project Board – Viettel Network Corporation : developing a diverse, rich, and comprehensive cloud service ecosystem in just 4 months. The first contracts in the past year are a great motivation for Viettel Cloud to reach the revenue milestone of 1,000 billion VND in 2023.
6. Viettel Ho Chi Minh Branch : The branch grew by 8.1%, exceeding business targets and contributing significantly to the revenue of IT solution services nationwide, leading in revenue transfer of new services...
7. Movitel Company : growth rate reached 28.7%, 7 times higher than the world average growth rate. The amount of money transferred back to the country is the highest ever.
8. National Defense and Security Center - Viettel Enterprise Solutions Corporation : completed 124% of the plan, grew 69% compared to 2021 and made the Group the No. 1 unit in consulting and implementing digital transformation in the entire army.
9. Distribution Center – Viettel Import-Export Trading Company : 3 consecutive years of double-digit growth in both revenue and profit, is the distributor with the highest labor productivity, 3 times higher than the competitor with the largest distribution revenue in Vietnam.
10. Vinh Post Office - Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation : Is the leading unit with the highest rate of completing the delivery revenue plan nationwide, growing 62% compared to 2021. Growth in 2022 is 4.6 times higher than the growth of the Branch and the Corporation in 2022.

1. Mr. Tran Van Huong - Director of Transmission Technology Research Center - Viettel High-Tech Industry Corporation : presided over the research and development of the 100G Site Router transmission system and successfully sold it to the Indian market, becoming Viettel's first telecommunications equipment exported to foreign markets. Presided over the production and trading of ONT Dualband, reaching 440 billion, accounting for 75% of VHT's telecommunications equipment revenue. Author of 01 core technology and 04 inventions, including 01 patented in the US.
2. Mr. Le Sy Duc, Deputy Director of Center C7 - Viettel Aerospace Institute : Excellently completed tasks in research, design, development and completion of high-tech products.
3. Mr. Luu Duc Phong, Head of Digital Platform Department, Transformation Center - Viettel Network Corporation : created many pioneering platforms in Vietnam and in the Group such as the nBox enterprise digitalization platform, the career path system for more than 3,000 Viettel Network employees.
4. Mr. Pham Ngoc Anh, Deputy Director - Television Service Center - Viettel Telecom Corporation : Making TV360 the most used OTT television service in Vietnam, reaching the milestone of 10 million users, including over 5 million monthly paying subscribers. An achievement that previous businesses had to do in 10 years.
5. Mr. Nagib Fesal Ferry - Deputy Head of Finance Department, Viettel Tanzania Company : Researching the legal system day and night, verifying information among a pile of paperwork and archives for nearly 10 years, persistently protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Halotel, reducing revenue tax obligations 44 times, reducing value added tax 330 times.
6. Mr. Hoang Nguyen, Station Technical Staff, Viettel Thai Nguyen Construction Branch : Always complete 100% KPI on technical indicators; Manage the number of type 1 and 2 management stations: 27 stations, 25 stations higher than the national average, including 23 macro stations and 4 extended stations scattered in 06 wards in the city.
7. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai, Cyberspace Monitoring and Response Center - Viettel Cyber Security Company : Successfully completed the task of Information Security Team Leader, contributing to helping the Cyber Security Company increase 54% of external revenue, contributing to affirming the number one position of Viettel brand in the field of Information Security.
8. Mr. Tran Van Kieu, Head of Binh Luc Post Office, Viettel Ha Nam Post Office Branch - Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation : Led Binh Luc Post Office, Viettel Ha Nam Post Office Branch from a difficult unit to become the leading unit of the Branch with outstanding achievements. The average post office salary increased by 90% compared to 2021, doubling the income for workers.
9. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Duc, Athlete of Viettel Football Club, Viettel Sports Center : One of the 3 players over 23 years old summoned with the Vietnam U23 team to participate in the 31st SEA Games, is considered an important and irreplaceable link in the midfield of the Team.
10. Mr. Trinh Duc Hoat, Senior Specialist in Management Software Architecture, Information Technology Department of the Group : building the first telecommunications asset lifecycle management solution at Viettel, allowing connectivity from the planning and sizing stage to investment project policy, project procurement, installation, project settlement, and asset formation.
