
According to information from the Vietnam Telecommunications Services Corporation ( VNPT VinaPhone), over 60% of its subscribers have verified their information. It is estimated that by June 15th, there will still be approximately 3-4 million subscribers who have not yet verified their information.
According to a VinaPhone representative, subscribers whose information has been verified account for 75% of the network's revenue, indicating that this is a customer segment with high consumption needs and stable activity.
Regarding the reason why some customers have yet to verify their accounts, a VinaPhone representative stated that it is due to the mindset of waiting until the deadline (June 15, 2026).
These phone numbers are often not registered in the owner's name, the owner is abroad, or the customer has special circumstances and does not yet meet the verification requirements…
Currently, VinaPhone maintains 2,500 transaction points for customers to register their subscriber information. In addition, VinaPhone maintains the My VNPT app to allow users to self-verify their information.
For customers over 60 years old who do not have VNeID level 2, only use basic phones, or live in economically and geographically disadvantaged areas, VinaPhone collaborates with local police to contact customers at their addresses to verify subscriber information.

According to Viettel's statistics, among customers who have not yet verified their subscriber information, the elderly group currently accounts for more than 30%.
Without timely support, a segment of customers risks experiencing communication disruptions.
Based on this reality, Viettel has launched a program to assist elderly customers in verifying their subscriber information at their homes, helping them complete the procedure conveniently, safely, and without having to travel.
Customers simply need to call the Viettel Customer Service Hotline 1800 8098 (toll-free), press 0 to speak with an operator, and provide basic information such as their full name, phone number, and address. After receiving the request, local Viettel staff will proactively contact the customer and come to their location to provide assistance.
Viettel also encourages family members to assist relatives in verifying subscriber information through the My Viettel application.
