VIMC organizes workshop to improve CRM system efficiency

On the morning of January 3, 2025, a seminar on customer relationship management (CRM) took place at Vietnam National Shipping Lines ( VIMC ). The seminar was chaired by Deputy General Director Le Quang Trung, with the participation of member enterprises and representatives of departments of the Corporation.

After nearly a year of implementing the first phase of the CRM system, this workshop was held with the aim of evaluating the effectiveness, identifying outstanding issues, and proposing solutions to optimize customer data management and exploitation. This is also an opportunity for member businesses and the General Corporation's office departments to discuss and share practical experiences in the process of applying the new system. Many valuable opinions were given by the delegates, focusing on important contents such as integrating the system with existing software, ensuring data security, and improving the interface for easier use. Some businesses emphasized the need for real-time data synchronization, integration with management systems such as TOS and accounting software to improve the ability to manage revenue, output, and business efficiency. Deputy General Director Le Quang Trung affirmed that the long-term goal of the CRM system is not only to manage customer data but also to exploit data into useful information to support business operations, customer care and build more effective market strategies. He also noted that member units need to fully exploit the system's features to maximize the benefits that CRM brings. The workshop agreed on the next steps, including overcoming technical problems before February 15, 2025, continuing to organize in-depth training sessions, and preparing for the second phase of the project. With high consensus from the participants, the workshop is expected to be a turning point in improving the efficiency of customer management and exploitation, contributing to promoting VIMC's competitiveness in the coming time.
