Sergeant Nguyen Chi Tuong tells stories to children of Vinamilk employees at Long Dat Nursing Center for War Invalids and Meritorious People.
One of the touching moments in the program was when Sergeant Nguyen Chi Tuong - a veteran who is being treated at the Long Dat Nursing Center for War Invalids and Meritorious People (HCMC) received a painting of a wounded soldier with a prosthetic leg, symbolizing the desire for peace . Sergeant Nguyen Chi Tuong, a person who has experienced much pain after the war, emotionally shared: "The painting is small, but the feelings are big. The next generation still remembers us, that is enough to warm their hearts."
This painting is part of more than 100 artworks sent by students - children of Vinamilk staff from all over the world. Each painting is not only a tribute but also an emotional connection between the past and the future.
Paintings drawn by children of Vinamilk employees become a bridge connecting the past with the future
According to specialist doctor I Tong Duc Binh, Director of Long Dat Nursing Center for War Invalids, these paintings are like "embraces connecting the past and the future". The doctor believes that this is a practical way to educate the younger generation about gratitude towards those who sacrificed their youth and part of their bodies for national independence.
"These paintings are not only spiritual gifts, but also a strong source of encouragement for wounded and sick soldiers in the fight against pain and difficulties in life," said Dr. Binh.
Not only stopping at Long Dat Center, Vinamilk also sent paintings to other war invalids nursing centers in Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City... Each painting is a thank you and a dream of peace.
Each painting the children draw is not only a thank you to those who came before, but also a way to quietly sow the seeds of gratitude in the hearts of children.
In Vinh Long alone, Vinamilk accompanied the "Gratitude to those who contributed to the revolution" market held in Dong Khoi commune. With the form of a zero-dong market, the enterprise gave away thousands of nutritional gifts to about 1,700 people attending the program.
In addition to spiritual gifts, Vinamilk also donated more than 18,000 nutritional products, contributing to the health care of those who have devoted their lives to the country. Through these gratitude activities, Vinamilk affirms its sustainable commitment to maintaining health support programs for the previous generation.
In addition to the painting activity, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, Vinamilk also visited and gave nutritional products to people with revolutionary contributions.
With over 30 years of maintaining gratitude activities, Vinamilk not only shows gratitude to heroes, but also emphasizes its responsibility to the next generations. In particular, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of national reunification, Vinamilk visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers at many nursing centers, demonstrating the continuation of affection and responsibility.
Through these practical actions, Vinamilk not only pays tribute to the past but also continues to care for future generations, with the hope of creating a peaceful and prosperous future.
