VinDynamics and Schaeffler develop humanoid robots.

VinDynamics, a technology company under Vingroup, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Schaeffler, a leading global motion technology group based in Germany, to promote collaborative research and development of core components for humanoid robots, with a view to future commercial agreements.

This event marks a significant step forward in VinDynamics' strategy for developing humanoid robots, while also opening up the potential for accelerating innovation and expanding technological cooperation between the two companies globally.

According to the agreement, VinDynamics and Schaeffler will collaborate on research, development, and optimization of core components for humanoid robots, including robot actuators and motors. The two parties will focus on evaluating and refining prototypes developed by Schaeffler, considering mechanical, gearbox, and hardware specifications, as well as critical factors such as materials, tolerances, and scalability.

In addition, VinDynamics will conduct technical evaluations and optimize the control software to ensure compatibility and effective integration with the proposed systems. After the commercial launch phase, both parties plan to continue collaborating on simulation, verification, and product improvement, while also leveraging real-world operational data to optimize design and enhance system performance.
