(Dan Tri Newspaper) - VinFast and Motech Automotive Service Center, through its franchisee in the Philippines, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to expand the service network for VinFast electric vehicles in this market.
According to the memorandum of understanding, VinFast and Motech will actively work towards the goal of turning Motech's 63 service workshops into official VinFast service centers or authorized VinFast service centers for repairing, servicing, and maintaining VinFast electric vehicles in the Philippines.
VinFast aims to operate more than 100 similar service centers in the Philippines this year, and the recent agreement with Motech is part of the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer's plan to expand its partner network in the Philippines.

Motech's service centers in the Philippines will meet VinFast's requirements regarding facilities, machinery, equipment, and workforce skills, while prioritizing the provision of genuine parts and services to VinFast vehicle owners. This will contribute to maximum convenience and peace of mind for customers.
Throughout the collaboration, VinFast will provide personnel training and technical consulting to help Motech quickly expand its authorized service center network, especially given the expected strong growth in the number of VinFast electric vehicles delivered in the Philippines.
Motech currently owns a diverse chain of automotive service centers with hundreds of facilities across the Philippines, ranging in model and scale of operation, spanning from the northern part of the Tuguegarao archipelago, down to major cities in Manila, and to Mindanao Island in the south.

Making its debut in the Philippines, the partnership between VinFast and Motech will address concerns about driving range and service, making electric vehicles more accessible to Filipinos.
