Vinh Linh: Released a 3.5 kg brown monkey into the wild

This morning, May 28, Vinh Linh District Forest Protection Department coordinated with relevant units to release a brown monkey back into the wild.

This brown monkey is female; weighs 3.5 kg; belongs to the endangered and rare group IIB. Information from the Vinh Linh District Forest Protection Department said that the brown monkey was discovered and raised by Mr. Tran Huu Anh, in Huynh Cong Dong village, Trung Nam commune, and has now been handed over to the authorities.

After confirming the health status of the wild animals, Vinh Linh District Forest Protection Department released the brown monkey back into the natural forest area in Vinh Ha commune in accordance with regulations.
