
The delegation visited and congratulated Most Venerable Thach Sok Xane, Vice President of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Vinh Long province, President of the Provincial Association of Patriotic Monks and Nuns, Abbot of Ang Pagoda (Nguyet Hoa ward); Most Venerable Thach Oai, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Association of Patriotic Monks and Nuns, Abbot of KomPong Pagoda ( Tra Vinh ward).
Here, Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee Ngo Chi Cuong kindly inquired about the health and life of the monks, acknowledged the important contributions of the Venerables, the Temple Management Board and Buddhist followers in preserving and promoting cultural identity, consolidating the great national unity bloc, and at the same time mobilizing people to well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws.
The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that monks and Buddhists will continue to accompany the province in the cause of building an increasingly rich and civilized homeland.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited and presented gifts to outstanding Khmer retired cadres: Lam Phu, former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly 's Committee for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas; Son Minh Thang, former Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies (both residing in Nguyet Hoa ward).
The Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee expressed his respect for the great contributions of the comrades during their work, and wished them good health, hoping that they would continue to be a spiritual support and a shining example for the younger generation to follow.
* On the same day, Permanent Vice Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee Dang Van Chinh also visited Chet Chrum Pagoda (Vinh Kim Commune), Thlott Pagoda (Nhi Truong Commune) and 14 policy families in Vinh Kim, Cau Ngang and Nhi Truong communes.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee sent congratulations to the Khmer people; kindly visited the lives of families of martyrs, wounded soldiers, meritorious people, monks and pagoda management boards on the occasion of Sel Dolta 2025.
