Vinicius and Real have conflict

Vinicius Junior's contract negotiations with Real Madrid are currently stalled due to the Brazilian's high wage demands.

Vinícius Junior is currently on a contract with a salary of around 17 million euros per season (including bonuses) at Real Madrid.

According to ESPN , Vinicius Junior's team of representatives, including two "super agents" Fred Pena and Thássilo Soares, are asking Real Madrid to raise the player's fixed salary to 20 million euros per season, with bonuses that could reach 30 million euros. Vinicius currently receives a salary of about 17 million euros per season (including bonuses) at Real Madrid.

The new salary could make Vinicius go down in Real Madrid history as the second player after Ronaldo to earn a total of 30 million euros in a year. Real Madrid's current salary cap is only 20 million euros/year (including bonuses), the amount Kylian Mbappe is receiving.

Vinicius' current contract with Real Madrid runs until the summer of 2027. However, the latest extension offer from "Los Blancos" does not meet the player's expectations in terms of salary and role on the field.

Real Madrid only offered a fixed salary of 20 million euros without including an additional bonus of 10 million euros, causing Vinícius' team to believe that this salary was too low for them to renew the contract.

This has led the 24-year-old to consider other options such as Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea or teams from Saudi Arabia. President Florentino Perez is also ready to replace Vinicius in case he decides to leave. Real Madrid's top target is Erling Haaland. The "Los Blancos" leadership hopes that the Norwegian striker will combine well with Mbappe in the squad.
