VIPC Summit 2025: Positioning Vietnam as a potential destination for innovation capital flows

The Vietnam Innovation and Investment Forum 2025 (VIPC Summit 2025) with the theme: "Promoting innovation, unlocking private capital, bringing Vietnam into the era of growth" will take place on April 22 at the National Convention Center.

This year’s forum is the continuation and expansion of the four successful editions of Vietnam Venture Summit – a series of events that gradually laid the foundation for the venture capital ecosystem in Vietnam. With the new name “VIPC Summit”, the 2025 forum is upgraded in both scale and content.

According to Mr. Vu Quoc Huy, Director of the National Innovation Center (NIC), organizing the VIPC Summit is a concrete action to implement the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo , which emphasizes breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

“The National Innovation Center, under the direction of the Ministry of Finance , will continue to coordinate with the Ministry of Science and Technology and relevant ministries and branches to carry out the Government's tasks of promoting innovation, unlocking private capital, developing a complete and effective ecosystem, enhancing competitiveness, helping Vietnam achieve the growth target of over 8% in 2025 and double-digit growth in the coming period,” Mr. Vu Quoc Huy shared at the program announcement ceremony.

The event is expected to be attended by Government leaders, leaders of the Ministry of Finance, representatives of many ministries, localities, international organizations, large investment funds and reputable financial institutions such as: CDH Investments, Partech Ventures, Temasek, Do Ventures, Golden Gate Ventures, VinaCapital, Mekong Capital... and many other international financial institutions.

At the information event, Mr. Vinnie Lauria, VPCA Board Member, Founder of Golden Gate Ventures Fund emphasized that this year's forum is the largest event ever with more than 1,000 delegates attending, including more than 200 investors from all over Asia, the Gulf region and Europe, including senior leaders from the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Manulife, Nasdaq and Partech Ventures (Silicon Valley).

VIPC Summit 2025 will have discussion sessions on Vietnam's vision, policies and strategic orientations in innovation and attracting private investment, in-depth seminars with the participation of business leaders, investment funds, international experts, discussing contents such as: Strategy to expand business scale and successfully call for capital; solutions to promote IPO, M&A and effective forms of divestment; investment exchange and connection between domestic and foreign partners...
