VN-Index increased by more than 22 points thanks to strong cash flow into the banking group.

On September 24, the stock market fluctuated, with the VN-Index falling to the reference level at times. At the end of the afternoon session, bottom-fishing cash flow appeared, causing many stocks to turn around and increase sharply, with banking stocks being the most prominent contributor. At the end of the session, the VN-Index increased by 22.2 points to 1,657.46 points.

Market liquidity increased compared to yesterday's session, with total trading volume on the three floors reaching more than 1,125 million shares, equivalent to a total trading value of more than VND29,844 billion.

Foreign investors continued to net sell on all 3 floors more than 1,598 billion VND, focusing on codes VHM (245.47 billion VND), SSI (198.34 billion VND), VPB (123.54 billion VND), VCI (104.74 billion VND), TCB (101.82 billion VND)...

On the contrary, the stocks with the most net purchases in this session included CII (119.9 billion VND), DIG (70.75 billion VND), CEO (65.29 billion VND), BID (54.14 billion VND), PDR (42.66 billion VND)...

On the HoSE floor, the order matching value this session increased compared to the previous session, reaching more than VND 25,030 billion.

In this session, the codes that contributed positively to the VN-Index increasing by more than 12.38 points included: VPB, TCB, HDB, VCB, MBB,ACB , HPG, STB, LPB, CTG.

On the contrary, the codes that negatively impacted the VN-Index by more than 1.25 points include: VHM, VIC, BMP, SJS, GEX, REE, VPL, STG, PNJ, VHC.

In terms of industry groups, this session, software stocks leaned towards green, increasing by 1.49%, mainly fromFPT , CMG, ELC... Some codes decreased including HPT, SBD...

The group of securities stocks performed positively, increasing by 2.56%, mainly from codes SSI, VIX, VND, VCI, SHS, HCM, MBS, FUEVFVND, FTS, BSI... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included TVC, FUEKIVFS, HVA, FUESSV30, FUEKIVND...

This session, the majority of banking stocks were green, with an increase of 2.23%, mainly from codes VCB, BID, TCB, CTG, VPB, MBB, LPB, ACB, STB, HDB... The few codes that decreased included KLB...

The real estate stock group this session recorded an increase of 0.71%, mainly from codes BCM, VRE, SSH, KDH, KBC, NVL, PDR, VPI, TAL, DIG, NLG... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included VIC, VHM, KSF, SJS, SIP, IDC, NTC...

Energy stocks traded in green and closed up 0.54%, mainly from codes BSR , PLX, PVS, PVD, OIL, VTO, PVC, VIP, POS, AAH... Some codes decreased including PPT, MGC, POV, PSC...

The group of raw material stocks this session recorded an increase of 1.20%, mainly from codes HPG, GVR, DGC, KSV, MSR, DCM, DPM, HSG, NKG, HT1, TVN, ACG, DDV... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included NTP, PHR, VIF, DPR, VFG, FIC, APH, DRG...

Insurance stocks this session were mostly green, up 0.43%, mainly from codes BVH, BMI, PRE, ABI, BLI... Some codes decreased including PVI...

Retail stocks this session leaned towards green, up 1.29%, mainly from codes MWG, FRT, HUT, DGW, HHS, PET, CTF, HAX, PEG... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included PNJ, HTM, SVC, GMA, TSC, STH...

* The Vietnamese stock market index closed today in the green, VNXALL-Index closed up 52.95 points (+1.89%), to 2,861.72 points. Liquidity with a trading volume of more than 1,044.47 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 28,499.75 billion. In the whole market, there were 271 stocks increasing in price, 80 stocks remaining unchanged and 102 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 277.28 points, up 4.27 points (+1.56%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 94.21 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND 2,253.94 billion. In the whole market, there were 95 stocks increasing in price, 57 stocks remaining unchanged and 58 stocks decreasing in price.

The HNX30 index closed up 14.92 points (+2.53%) to 605.75 points. Trading volume reached over 71.76 million units, equivalent to over VND1,885.25 billion. In the whole market, there were 18 stocks increasing in price, 7 stocks remaining unchanged and 5 stocks decreasing in price.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM-Index closed at 109.65 points, down 0.37 points (-0.34%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached over 33.6 million shares, corresponding trading value reached over 466.39 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 148 stocks increasing in price, 91 stocks remaining unchanged and 87 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 22.2 points (+1.36%) to 1,657.46 points. Liquidity reached over 998.07 million units, equivalent to a trading value of over VND27,124.2 billion. The entire floor had 231 stocks increasing, 51 stocks remaining unchanged and 88 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 32.03 points (+1.76%) and stopped at 1,853.48 points. Liquidity reached more than 509.52 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 15,372.09 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 27 stocks increasing, 1 stock remaining unchanged and 2 stocks decreasing in price.

The 5 stocks with the highest trading volume are SHB (over 191.79 million units), CII (over 51.35 million units), VPB (over 40.52 million units), SSI (over 36.37 million units), HPG (over 30.73 million units).

The 5 stocks with the highest price increase are HDB (+6.97%), CDC (+6.91%), JVC (+6.90%), TDH (+6.89%), SVD (+6.86%).

The 5 stocks with the biggest price decrease are TNH (-10.62%), PMG (-6.99%), DAT (-6.97%), DTT (-6.94%), HSL (-6.92%).
