VNPT has begun installing a mobile phone base station at a new location for residents in Lang Nu village.
To synchronize telecommunications infrastructure and provide essential information connectivity for the people of Lang Nu village in the resettlement area, creating favorable conditions for the villagers, on September 19th, the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group ( VNPT ) commenced the installation of a BTS base station at the site of the new village for the people of Lang Nu. The BTS station will be built on a hilltop in Luong Son commune, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province, 800 meters from the resettlement area and 2 kilometers from the rescue area. VNPT is determined to complete the project as soon as possible, enabling residents in the area to quickly connect, easily communicate, and use modern telecommunications services. Simultaneously, it will maximize communication for the rescue team, making a significant contribution to emergency relief and support efforts.
This is not only VNPT's effort to expand its telecommunications network but also a commitment to bringing the best value to the community. VNPT will continue to work alongside local authorities in implementing Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh 's directive to complete the new mobile broadcasting station in Lang Nu village by December 31st.
