This year, the organizers have chosen the Perfume Riverfront Stage, in front of Hue National High School, as the central connecting point. The aim of the Week is to create a new, creative, and humane space for contemporary music .
With its open design, the program is entirely community-oriented, offering free entertainment to residents of the ancient capital as well as tourists from all over. Audiences will be immersed in a grand outdoor music festival, with each night offering a different atmosphere and each performance a journey of emotions.

The main programs will take place at 8 PM every night at the stage on the banks of the Perfume River, in front of Hue National High School for the Gifted. Photo: Hue Newspaper and Radio & Television.
The program brings together eight leading traditional and contemporary art troupes from France, Spain, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam. Audiences will witness a sublime blend of dance, pop, flamenco, choreography, and fashion through international names such as the Hervé Koubi Dance Troupe and OJOS Group from France, the LAS MIGAS Flamenco Group from Spain, the collaboration between American-British artists and Matthew Ifield from Australia, J-POP artist Kawanishi Natsuki from Japan, and representatives from South Korea including the K-Culture Friends in Chungnam group, the Park Sang-Yong Yung Dance Troupe, and the Pungnyu Bongi Troupe.
Vietnam will have singer MONO participating in the event. Notably, the Trinh Cong Son tribute night has attracted many renowned artists and the Hue Royal Court Arts Theatre.
The Hue International Music Week 2026 is not only a cultural exchange event, but also a strategic step towards realizing the goal of making Hue a distinctive Festival City of Vietnam.
By organizing large-scale events right on the heritage site, the program contributes to strongly promoting the image of the friendly people of Hue, while simultaneously boosting tourism and sustainable socio-economic development for the locality.
