The 'hundred million euro' dance has just begun

The 2025 summer transfer window is only halfway through, but huge numbers have already "heated up" the European market.

Rodrygo is at risk of being sold by Real Madrid in the summer of 2025.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United and Liverpool spent a total of more than 700 million euros in July to upgrade their squad. Bayern Munich also caused a stir when spending 75 million euros to sign Luis Diaz, while Real Madrid invested 173 million euros on Huijsen, Carreras, Arnold and Mastantuono. However, the transfer picture is still not over as a series of stars are preparing to create big deals in August.

In La Liga, Rodrygo became the center of attention when Real Madrid decided to open the door for him to leave. Tottenham is currently the leading team in the race, ready to pay around 90 million euros for the Brazilian star's signature. However, this price is said to be still not enough to make Los Blancos "nod" immediately.

Newcastle value Alexander Isak at no less than €100m. The Swede has expressed his desire to leave St James' Park, while Liverpool - after selling Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich and likely to part ways with Darwin Nunez - are in dire need of a top-class striker. The Reds' two offers are below Newcastle's asking price, but the funds from player sales could allow them to come back with a more attractive offer.

Man United have signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, but coach Amorim still wants to strengthen his attack. Benjamin Sesko, a striker from RB Leipzig, is the target with a price tag of 70 million euros.

Newcastle are also interested in Sesko if they have to let Isak go. AC Milan have been chasing the Slovenian striker but do not have the financial resources to meet Leipzig's demands.

Coach Allegri wants another top striker, and Dusan Vlahovic is likely to leave Juventus. The arrival of Jonathan David has made the Serbian striker's position more precarious. The "Old Lady" is willing to accept a loss when valuing Vlahovic at 30 million euros, much lower than the 85 million euros they paid Fiorentina more than two years ago.

Kolo Muani was left out by PSG.

After half a season on loan at Juventus, Randal Kolo Muani returned to PSG but was not in coach Luis Enrique's plans. The Parisian capital club wanted to sell him to Premier League clubs or Saudi Arabia to earn a large sum, after spending 95 million euros to recruit the French striker.

PSG are ready to part ways with Gianluigi Donnarumma. The club has signed two new goalkeepers in a short period of time, indicating that they do not want to let the Italian leave on a free transfer with only one year left on his contract. Premier League giants and Bayern Munich are both closely monitoring the deal.

In midfield, Xavi Simons has been linked with Tottenham and Chelsea. However, Leipzig will only let him leave if they receive more than 60 million euros. Meanwhile, Samu - Porto's attacking star - is also in the sights of Newcastle and Aston Villa. Porto insists that the 80 million euro price is "no bargaining".

The transfer window is still more than a month away, and it is clear that the “million-euro dance” has only just begun. The deals of Rodrygo, Isak, Sesko or Donnarumma promise to shake up the market when August enters its peak period.
