Specifically, at Cho Ray Hospital, Dr. Tran Thanh Tung, the hospital's direct leader, said that the unit received 3 patients: DAT (male, 15 years old), NCH (male, 46 years old) and NTKT (female, 33 years old) transferred from Ba Ria Hospital ( Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) in a state of severe burns. Patients DAT and NCH were both hospitalized in a state of anesthesia, on a ventilator, blood pressure difficult to measure, diagnosed with burns over 80% of the body. Female patient NTKT (33 years old) was diagnosed with 40% burns on the head, face, 2 hands, 2 legs, degree 2-3, respiratory burns.
At Children's Hospital 2, this unit received 2 male children, 13 and 15 years old. They were transferred with 60% body burns, 2nd-3rd degree burns due to fire. Both children are expected to be in serious condition. A representative of Children's Hospital 1 also said that this hospital is receiving and treating 2 children who were severely burned that morning, and are currently in critical condition.
Earlier, on the morning of June 3, rooms 3 and 10 (with 11 people living in them) in a row of rooms in Phuoc Binh commune, Long Thanh district caught fire. According to Long Thanh district police, initial investigation determined that NTH, who lived in room 10, set the fire out of jealousy.
