(CT) - The Standing Committee of the Can Tho University Youth Union recently organized the final round of the 2026 English and French-language storytelling competition about President Ho Chi Minh for students of the university.

The final round featured 10 teams, including 7 teams in the English category and 3 teams in the French category. The teams shared stories about President Ho Chi Minh through presentations or theatrical performances, recreating stories about his life, revolutionary career, and moral example. The competition contributed to fostering revolutionary ideals and ethics, and a lifestyle based on Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style; it also provided a platform for students to practice English and French, and hone their international integration skills.

During the 2023-2025 term, the Youth Union and Student Association of Can Tho University organized many academic activities and lively competitions suitable for students, such as: learning about Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, resolutions of the Party, the Youth Union, the Student Association, and the laws of the State. Along with that, the Can Tho University Student Association effectively implemented the campaign "One good news story every day, one beautiful story every week"; promoting examples of "good people, good deeds" and exemplary students on social media platforms.
