Coast Guard Region 2 receives support for Vietnamese Heroic Mother

DNO - On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 23, the Command of Coast Guard Region 2 organized gratitude activities in Da Nang city.

The Command of Coast Guard Region 2 held a ceremony to receive and care for two Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, including Mother Nguyen Thi Thoai (Tho Khuong village, Nui Thanh commune) and Mother Nguyen Thi Minh (Bich An village, Tam Xuan commune). Each mother received a gift worth 7 million VND from the Vietnam Coast Guard and support of 1 million VND/month.

The delegation also visited and presented gifts to the family of martyr, People's Armed Forces Hero Duong Van Loc, sailors of the "No-number Train" and 5 policy households in Nui Thanh commune, with a total gift value of 4 million VND.

On the same day, a delegation from the Coast Guard Region 2 Command visited and presented gifts to the Center for Nursing and Caring for Meritorious People in Quang Ngai province.
