According to forecasts, salinity tends to increase in the coming days. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vung Liem announced the closing and opening of Vung Liem, Cai Tom and Nang Am sluice gates from February 19 to February 26. On February 19, 3 sluice gates will be closed when the water level is low; on February 21, 23, and 25, 2 gates will be operated (for 1 hour to serve water circulation).

Cai Tom and Nang Am sluices are closed during this time. There will be a notice when the salinity is below 0.5‰.
