Binh Dan Commune (Kim Thanh) announced the decision to achieve advanced new rural standards.

Comrade Luong Van Canh, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hai Duong province, awarded the certificate of recognition of the commune meeting advanced rural standards in 2022 to Binh Dan commune.

From 2018 to present, Binh Dan commune has mobilized 71 billion 355 million VND in capital from various sources to build and complete the advanced new rural criteria. Of which, the budget capital is more than 5 billion VND (accounting for 7.08%), the commune budget is more than 20 billion VND (accounting for 28.08%), people and businesses contribute more than 27 billion VND (accounting for 38.12%) and more than 19 billion VND in capital from other sources (accounting for 26.72%).

In addition to financial contributions, people also contributed more than 1,300 working days and donated 2,800 square meters of residential and agricultural land to expand village, hamlet and intra-field roads to ensure compliance with advanced new rural criteria.

By the end of 2022, the average income per capita of the whole commune reached 70.4 million VND, in 2023 it reached 74.3 million VND. The rate of well-off households increased, the rate of multidimensional poor households in 2022 decreased to 0.97%; 86.9% of the total labor force in the commune has been trained, 95.13% of the population has participated in health insurance. Kindergartens meet level 2 standards, primary and secondary schools meet level 1 standards. 5/5 villages have maintained the title of cultural village for many consecutive years...

With the achieved results, on December 29, 2023, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to recognize Binh Dan commune as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2022.

On this occasion, the Steering Committee of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction allocated 5 billion VND to support Binh Dan commune to complete and improve the criteria.
