Long Hung Commune: Giving 141 gifts to policy families

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the morning of July 23, Long Hung commune organized delegations to visit and present 141 gifts to policy families in the locality.

Long Hung commune leaders visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Ngo Thi Chuyen, Chieng La village.

In particular, the commune organized visits and presented gifts to 47 people, including: Vietnamese heroic mothers, revolutionary veterans, relatives of martyrs, wounded soldiers, seriously ill soldiers and people infected with Agent Orange with a damage rate of 81% or more, with a total value of nearly 20 million VND .

On this occasion, Long Hung commune received and presented gifts from the Ministry of Public Security and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union.   3 Mrs.   Vietnamese heroic mothers, 91 policy families,   with   total value over 60 million dong.

Long Hung commune leaders visited and presented gifts to Mrs. Tran Thi Doan, wife of a martyr, Duong Khe village.

Along with that, Long Hung commune organized a ceremony to offer incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the martyrs' cemeteries of Quang Tri and Ha Tinh provinces. The commune's youth union mobilized dozens of union members and young people to participate in the renovation of the martyrs' cemeteries in the area. The commune will organize a memorial service for the heroic martyrs on the evening of July 26.

The activities demonstrate the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source”, contributing to educating the younger generation about gratitude and responsibility in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
