BHG - Implementing the policy of sustainable agricultural development, Lung Tam commune (Quan Ba) has actively implemented the project of converting ineffective corn-growing land to high - value crops. Up to now, the whole commune has converted 160.86 hectares, reaching 127.6% of the plan.

Of which, the area converted according to the crop structure reached 156.2 hectares, focusing on crops such as tomatoes, cowpeas, chili, and peanuts. Initial economic efficiency showed that tomatoes brought an average income of 55 million VND/ha, cowpeas reached 43 million VND/ha, and chili reached about 45 million VND/ha. The total income from the converted area is estimated at over 8 billion VND, contributing to improving people's lives.
In addition, the commune has also completely converted 4.66 hectares of land to grow perennial fruit trees such as durian, GL4 mango, grapes, sugarcane, etc. Although not yet harvested immediately, this is considered a long-term direction to help develop stable production areas.
In 2025, Lung Tam commune continues to aim to convert an additional 163 hectares of corn land to winter vegetables and 1.4 hectares of perennial fruit trees, aiming to develop sustainable agriculture , increase production value and expand output for local agricultural products.
