Luong The Tran Commune: Launching a campaign to destroy mosquito larvae to prevent dengue fever

Recently, at the hall of the People's Committee of Luong The Tran commune, the Cai Nuoc Regional Medical Center coordinated with the People's Committee of the commune to organize a launching ceremony for the campaign to eradicate mosquito larvae to prevent and control dengue fever. Attending the ceremony were Dr. Pham Thanh Trung, Director of the Cai Nuoc Regional Medical Center; Mr. Trang Hoang Lam, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Luong The Tran commune, along with representatives of the Steering Committee for epidemic prevention and control; Principals of schools; Heads of hamlets; Medical Teams and population collaborators in the area.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Medical Center launched a general environmental sanitation movement, killing mosquito larvae, and removing stagnant water containers where Aedes mosquitoes breed. The Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee called on all officials and people to actively respond, maintain weekly environmental sanitation activities, and join hands to repel dengue fever. Immediately after the launching ceremony, the forces simultaneously launched a campaign to collect waste, clean jars, turn over unnecessary water containers, and propagate and guide people to implement disease prevention measures at home. The campaign created a vibrant atmosphere, demonstrating the determination of local authorities and the health sector in protecting public health.
