Thuan Chau Commune lights candles to pay tribute to heroes and martyrs

On the evening of July 25, at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Thuan Chau commune, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune held a candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

Leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, agencies and units in the area visited the martyrs' cemetery of Thuan Chau commune.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, representatives of agencies, units, armed forces and members of political and social organizations in the area offered incense and laid wreaths to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs. Candles of gratitude were lit on 212 graves, symbolizing the deep gratitude of today's generation.

At the ceremony, the delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the nation, affirming the heroic sacrifices of the martyrs that have contributed to the peace, prosperity and happiness of today. At the same time, it demonstrated the determination of today's generations to continue the tradition, strive to study, work, and build the homeland of Thuan Chau to become increasingly prosperous, beautiful and civilized.
