In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, representatives of agencies, units, armed forces and members of political and social organizations in the area offered incense and laid wreaths to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs. Candles of gratitude were lit on 212 graves, symbolizing the deep gratitude of today's generation.
At the ceremony, the delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the nation, affirming the heroic sacrifices of the martyrs that have contributed to the peace, prosperity and happiness of today. At the same time, it demonstrated the determination of today's generations to continue the tradition, strive to study, work, and build the homeland of Thuan Chau to become increasingly prosperous, beautiful and civilized.
The candle lighting ceremony is one of the annual activities of Thuan Chau commune on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and contributing to educating the young generation about revolutionary traditions, patriotism, and national pride.
