The 2024 Ky Yen Festival will be held at Hoi An communal house, built under the Tu Duc dynasty (around 1870) associated with the contributions of a famous scholar, an outstanding son of the ancient Hoi An village - Mr. Pho Bang Nguyen Dinh Tuu, Quang Nam Governor, and Quoc Tu Giam Rector.

Hoi An communal house is the place to worship the village's tutelary god and the ancestors. Later, in the third year of Duy Tan (1909), it was conferred the title "Bao an chinh truc huu thien don ngung Bon canh thanh hoang chi than"...

Hoi An village's Ky Yen festival is assessed by cultural history researchers as a large-scale intangible cultural form of folk beliefs and an important festival with an appeal that spreads to regions in Tien Phuoc district.

The festival is not only a dream in everyday life about the spirit of patriotism, love for one's people, the tradition of "remembering the source of water when drinking" but is also sanctified to penetrate deeply into the consciousness of every Tien Chau resident, creating a colorful cultural and religious nuance, contributing to consolidating the foundation of development, solidarity in the village community, tightening the solidarity of compatriots, and awakening the sacred spirit of the nation.

Ky Yen festival is an inseparable and lively part of the historical and cultural relics of Hoi An communal house, always having a noble humanistic value, typical in the folk religious life of the agricultural residents of the midland and semi-mountainous region of Tien Phuoc.

Through this festival, the organizers hope to promote and introduce valuable activities in the folk cultural beliefs of residents living in the midland of Tien, the history of formation and development of Tien Phuoc land. From there, open up new potential for developing community ecotourism in the coming time, contributing to the local socio -economic development, aiming to build green tourism products, sustainable tourism development in Tien Chau commune in particular and Tien Phuoc midland in general.

After the opening ceremony, there will be many activities such as displaying agricultural products, serving typical cuisine, fruit art competition, traditional Quang noodle making performance, Quang noodle processing competition, traditional cake making... In addition, there will be many cultural and artistic activities, visiting ancient houses and garden houses in Tien Chau commune in association with neighboring localities in Tien Phuoc.
