
Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Secretary of the Za Hung Commune Party Committee - Mr. Hoih Bay said that, in response to the development requirements in the new period, on August 29, 1994, the Government issued Decree No. 102 on adjusting the administrative boundaries of a number of communes and towns of Tam Ky town and the districts of Que Son, Duy Xuyen, Nui Thanh, Dai Loc, and Hien. In particular, Hien district divided Ta Lu commune into 3 administrative units: Prao town, Za Hung commune, and Ta Lu commune.
Overcoming many challenges, the Party Committee, government, army and people of Za Hung commune have promoted the revolutionary tradition, the tradition of patriotism, solidarity, unity, joint efforts, consensus, focused intelligence and material resources to overcome difficulties, promote advantages, mobilize internal resources, take advantage of support and assistance from the central government, province, district, domestic and foreign organizations and the encouragement and sharing of other communes to build and develop the homeland. Up to now, the socio- economy , national defense - security and Party building work after 30 years of re-establishment have seen many improvements.
In 2023, the value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production increased 5 times, the total herd of livestock and poultry increased 3 times compared to 1994. Models of planting acacia, cinnamon, garden economy, raising pigs, cows, deer for velvet, and raising bamboo rats have been formed and brought about efficiency. The number of workers in the commune working in companies and factories in and outside the province has increased, bringing income to households. The average income per capita is more than 30 million VND/year; the poor household rate is 47%.
In 1994, Za Hung Party Committee had 19 members; by 2024, there were 7 subordinate Party cells and 159 members. Za Hung Commune was awarded noble prizes by the Party, State and all levels, including the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.

At the ceremony, Za Hung commune awarded certificates of merit to 5 groups and 15 individuals with outstanding achievements and contributions to the local development over the past 30 years. The commune also presented gifts to 32 people, including veteran revolutionary cadres, policy families, and disadvantaged families.
