Determine the 29 teams that will qualify for the UEFA Champions League 2026/2027.

After the top European national leagues concluded their 2025/2026 seasons, UEFA determined 29 out of 36 teams that will participate in the group stage (league phase) of the UEFA Champions League 2026/2027.

Of the 29 teams that have qualified for the group stage of next season's UEFA Champions League, the English Premier League and La Liga each have 5 representatives, Serie A and Bundesliga each have 4, Ligue 1 has 3, the Portuguese and Dutch leagues each have 2, and the Belgian, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Czech leagues each contribute 1.

Among the big names that qualified for the group stage of next season's Champions League, Manchester United attracted particular attention. According to the plan, the remaining 7 spots in the group stage of the 2026/2027 UEFA Champions League will be determined after the qualifying round, which takes place from July 7, 2026 to August 26, 2026. Following that, the draw for the group stage is expected to be held on August 27, 2026.

The group stage of the 2026/2027 UEFA Champions League is scheduled to begin on September 8, 2026 and end on January 27, 2027.
