According to the competition format of the VTV Cup 2025, the teams at the bottom of the group stage will not be eliminated immediately or have to compete in the classification immediately afterwards. The order of the tournament's groups will only determine the quarter-final matches: 1A - 4B; 1B - 4A; 2A - 3B; 2B - 3A.

Accordingly, the Vietnam women's volleyball team will meet the Vietnam U21 women's volleyball team in the quarterfinals. Although victory is unlikely to escape the hands of Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and her teammates, the competition between the top stars and the next generation of the country's women's volleyball team will certainly be highly anticipated.

Another match that promises to be exciting is the match between the Philippines and U21 Thailand. However, with striker Kuttika Kaewpin missing the rest of the VTV Cup 2025 due to being urgently called up to the national team for the FIVB Women's Volleyball National Championship 2025 (VNL), the strength of the representative of the "Land of the Golden Pagoda" will be significantly reduced.

The remaining two matches will be defending champion Korabelka (Russia) vs. Australia and Taiwan (China) vs. Sichuan (China).

The quarter-finals of VTV Cup 2025 will take place from tomorrow (July 3), the 4 winning teams will enter the semi-finals, the remaining 4 teams will compete in the classification from 5th to 8th place.
