Donated 20 sets of computers and printers to villages in Me Linh area

On October 6, the People's Committee of Me Linh commune coordinated with Hanoi University of Finance and Banking to donate information technology equipment to villages in the area.

At the conference, representatives of Hanoi University of Finance and Banking presented 20 sets of computers, printers, and desks to 20 villages in Me Linh commune. These computers were supported by Hanoi University of Finance and Banking with a total cost of 285 million VND.

At the conference, Associate Professor, Doctor of Science Bui Xuan Bien, Chairman of the Council of Hanoi University of Finance and Banking, said that the activity of supporting information technology equipment for villages in Me Linh commune is not only material support, but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, creating favorable conditions for Me Linh commune to speed up the progress of digital transformation, serving the needs of the people better and better.

Hanoi University of Finance and Banking is implementing many social responsibility activities to support local socio -economic development, contributing to promoting the application of information technology, and implementing digital transformation tasks. The school is committed to continuing to maintain and expand social responsibility activities, actively contributing, and working with the government to build an increasingly civilized and developed society.

Party Secretary and Chairman of the Commune People's Council Nguyen Anh Tuan deeply thanked the leaders and staff of the Hanoi University of Finance and Banking for their attention and support to Me Linh Commune with 20 sets of computers, printers, and desks for 20 villages in the area to serve the commune's digital transformation task. He also hoped that the village chiefs would preserve and use the provided equipment for the right purpose and effectively, especially in handling village work, participating in online meetings, and supporting people in submitting documents online. This helps the village chiefs improve work efficiency, strengthen connections with the government, and better adapt to the digital transformation process.

In addition, representatives of the villages expressed their gratitude for the timely attention and support of the local Party Committee and government; the commune and the Hanoi University of Finance and Banking provided computers and printers to help the villages better serve administrative work, population management, policy propaganda, and meet the needs of community life. The village leaders committed to effectively managing and using the equipment, and at the same time propagating so that people can maintain and promote the assigned equipment.

The villages requested the commune and units to continue supporting the organization of training and fostering IT skills for officials, upgrading stable internet connections, and providing more management software suitable for reality, so that digital transformation can be implemented synchronously and the capacity of grassroots officials can be improved.
