Determining the 4 quarter-final pairs of the 2025 National U17 Finals

On the afternoon of September 19, the 8 teams participating in the quarterfinals were revealed after the final match of Group A of the National U17 Finals - Thai Son Nam Cup 2025.

The National U17 Finals determined the 8 teams that passed the group stage.

In the decisive match, U17 CAHN had to win, while Da Nang only needed a draw to advance. The first half started with CAHN in control, but in the beginning of the second half, the young team from Song Han suddenly accelerated. In the 49th minute, Xuan Phuc was present to tap the ball into the net, opening the score 1-0 for Da Nang.

Not accepting being eliminated, CAHN pressed forward to attack. In the 69th minute, Minh Dat dribbled the ball strongly in the middle of the field before passing to Long Nhat to score diagonally, tying the score at 1-1. It was thought that the match would end in a draw, but in the 90+5 minute, Anh Luc fired a decisive long-range shot, sealing a 2-1 victory for Da Nang.

In the other match at the same time, U17 Ho Chi Minh City Football Club drew 0-0 with Nam Dinh despite having the initiative. The result helped Da Nang (6 points) top Group A, Ho Chi Minh City Football Club ranked second (5 points), Nam Dinh ranked third (4 points). All 3 teams won tickets to continue, while CAHN was eliminated with only 1 point.

At the end of the group stage, 8 teams entered the quarterfinals including Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City Football Club, Nam Dinh (group A), SLNA, Hanoi (group B), PVF-CAND, The Cong and An Giang (group C).

The quarter-finals take place on September 22. Three matches kick off at 3:00 p.m., including SHB Da Nang vs. An Giang at Tan Hung Stadium, SLNA vs. Nam Dinh at Long Tam Stadium, and PVF-CAND vs. Hanoi at Ba Ria Stadium. Also at Ba Ria Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City Football Club will meet The Cong at 5:00 p.m.
