Representatives of Panasonic Vietnam Co., Ltd. receive the Certificate for establishing a tree planting record - planting 1 million trees in the shortest time.

On the morning of March 18th, at the Hoa Binh 1 Wind Power Plant (Hoa Binh district), the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Vietnam Record Organization, in coordination with Panasonic Vietnam Co., Ltd., held a ceremony to receive the record for planting 1 million trees in the shortest time at the "Healthy Living, Green Contribution with Panasonic" program. Attending the ceremony were Dr. Le Doan Hop - former Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, former Minister of Information and Communications, and Chairman of the Vietnam Record Organization's Council; Lieutenant General Pham Tuan, Hero of the People's Armed Forces and Honorary Chairman of the Vietnam Record System; and partners of Panasonic Vietnam Co., Ltd. Representing Bac Lieu province were leaders from the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Foreign Affairs Office, the Provincial People's Committee Office, and other relevant departments and agencies.

Launched in 2022, Panasonic's "Live Healthy, Contribute Green" program aims to achieve the Panasonic Green Impact goal and the Government's plan to plant one billion trees between 2021 and 2025. Accordingly, for every product sold, such as air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, and other products in the healthcare solution suite, Panasonic will plant one tree to contribute to a greener and healthier Vietnam. After only three years of implementation, Panasonic proudly holds the Vietnamese record for planting over one million trees nationwide in the shortest time. This is not only a significant milestone recognizing Panasonic's practical contributions to the community but also an opportunity to express gratitude to customers and partners who have accompanied the Group.
