On the evening of April 11, many Facebook accounts posted statuses with clips allegedly taken at a nursery in Que Son district, Quang Nam , showing children being beaten by a woman, and having a wooden stick stuffed into their mouths.

According to a Facebook account named TT, the incident happened at a kindergarten in Que My commune, Que Son district, Quang Nam.

"You babysit at noon and then close the door and beat my child like that. When I picked him up in the afternoon, I saw marks on his face and asked him, the teacher said he was lying on the bed. My son has been going to daycare for almost a month and he didn't let me check the camera. This is because another parent accidentally saw it, but what about when someone else didn't see it and beat my child?

I thought that in the countryside there was no such thing, but it happened to my own child. The child was only 20 months old and he hit him with a stick in his throat. How could I not be scared and startled when I got home?

This post received 1,400 comments and more than 1,600 shares after 3 hours. This account posted clips recorded by the camera at this kindergarten on April 11.

Accordingly, a clip at around 11:55 a.m. the same day recorded a group of children sleeping. However, a woman then went up to grab the legs of a child who was lying down and used a wooden object to hit the child's legs many times, causing the child to cry out.

Then, this person turned to the children sleeping behind him and continued to grab the legs of another child, also using a wooden stick to hit this child's feet.

The woman continued to use a wooden stick to stuff into the child’s mouth while the child was also crying, to scare him. Besides the two children who were beaten, the other children were sleeping soundly.

When these clips were posted, they received many angry comments about the woman's actions. On a personal page, the posts attracted more than 650 comments and nearly 2,000 reactions.

Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , the leader of Que Son District People's Committee said that he had just seen this incident and had transferred the information to the head of the District and Commune Education and Training Department, along with the commune police to coordinate in checking and verifying.
