According to the representative of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), authenticating genuine products through QR Code is a solution for users to access and learn about the origin information of the products they have purchased, trace back from the product being sold on the shelf to the original place of production, and review each stage in processing and distribution.

Therefore, authenticating genuine products through QR Code will help consumers ensure that the products they want to buy do not contain toxic ingredients or are dangerous to health.

Currently, the Center for Information Technology and Digital Economy (Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy ) has been supporting businesses in using the Genuine Goods Authentication System through QR Code in e-commerce. This system is operated by the Center for Information Technology and Digital Economy at https://truyxuat.gov.vn/.

Accordingly, this software technology solution prevents all forms of counterfeiting, protects products comprehensively; warns businesses and consumers of counterfeit goods immediately by limiting the number of scans of genuine stamps, and clearly decentralizes management between the factory and distributor.

With this solution, consumers can rest assured to buy products with clear origin and guaranteed quality. Traceability to authenticate genuine products is becoming a trend for modern consumers.
