On May 30th and 31st, Chau Duong Pro badminton court (An Hoi Tay ward, Ho Chi Minh City) became the focal point for badminton enthusiasts as the Venson – Lava Cup 2026 Open Badminton Tournament officially kicked off.

Besides the junior categories, the tournament also includes a Newstar segment for amateur players and an Advanced group for elite athletes. This mix allows young talents to observe and learn tactical thinking from their seniors, thereby honing their practical skills.

With the goal of becoming a launching pad for potential talents, the Venson – Lava 2026 Tournament applies the current rules of the Vietnam Badminton Federation, ensuring the strictest professional standards. The fierce matches here are not only aimed at the prestigious medal but also serve as an opportunity for experts to discover promising talents for the national team.

In particular, the cash prize structure of 8 million VND for the Advanced group and 2.5 million VND for the U15 and U17 age groups is a timely encouragement, motivating the children to pursue a professional career.
