To build the image of "Safe and attractive Long An tourism", the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Long An is stepping up the promotion of specific tourism products and tourism identities when recognized by the province; strongly applying science , technology in heritage conservation and management; digitizing heritage databases for storage and exploitation, serving visitors with the highest efficiency.

Long An is located at the hinge position between the two economic regions of the East and the Southwest, adjacent to the tourist city of Ho Chi Minh City, with a border of about 134km, adjacent to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Along with that, Long An currently has 126 historical-cultural relics ranked at provincial and national levels. When the Long An tourism brand identity is put into operation, visitors will easily learn about historical-cultural heritages such as: Lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho Memorial Site, Phuoc Loc Tho Ancient House, Hundred Pillar Ancient House, Thanh Phu Long Ancient House Cluster...; traditional festivals such as: Tan Xuan Communal Vegetarian Festival, Long Thuong Temple Festival, death anniversary of musician Nguyen Quang Dai - Van Phuoc Communal House, death anniversary of Duke Nguyen Huynh Duc, cuisine...; traditional craft villages and living habits such as: Binh An Drum Village, Thuan Thanh Jewelry Craft, crab fish sauce production, mixed rice paper, areca nut rows or the road of happiness...

In the context that the Mekong Delta provinces are developing tourism based on the characteristics of rivers and delta terrain with overlapping forms of welcoming tourists, lacking creativity and low competitiveness, Long An is known as a leading locality in innovating tourism development methods through investment and supporting the development of periodic national and regional events to attract tourists to participate in pre-scheduled tours.

In addition, with the strength of a system of modern golf courses, Long An will become an ideal destination for high-income tourists and international tourists.

Long An is converging many strengths in the process of developing the smokeless industry.

Accordingly, Long An province needs to develop mini tours for tourists to experience the changes in culture, customs, climate, and soil of the lands across the province.

Doing this well will strongly connect traffic, economic and cultural exchanges in the region, diversify tourists' choices, promote economic sectors in the province to develop together, create jobs and better income for people, especially in rural areas.

When this type of tourism develops strongly, handicrafts, specialties, souvenirs, natural medicinal products, and traditional cultural products of Long An also have the opportunity to take off.
