Tăng cường giám sát an toàn, an ninh hàng không

Bộ Xây dựng vừa yêu cầu các cơ quan, đơn vị khẩn trương thực hiện đồng bộ các nhiệm vụ, giải pháp để tăng cường bảo đảm an toàn, an ninh hàng không trong thời gian tới.

Accordingly, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam is tasked with conducting a comprehensive assessment of aviation safety oversight capabilities, particularly the quality of the supervisory staff, in accordance with market development requirements and international regulations.

At the same time, the Vietnam Civil Aviation Authority must urgently finalize the plan to establish an agency for investigating aircraft incidents and accidents, and the plan for an aviation safety data center, creating a basis for information sharing, proactive identification, and risk prevention. In addition, reviewing, upgrading, and promptly addressing aviation infrastructure incidents is also a key task.

The Ministry of Construction requires that safety monitoring be implemented rigorously, both regularly and unexpectedly, for airlines, service providers, and airports. Violations that threaten safety will be severely punished.

In the coming period, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam will closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security , the Ministry of National Defense, and local authorities in ensuring aviation security, including cybersecurity and information security.

For provincial and city construction departments with airports, the Ministry of Construction proposes that they proactively advise local People's Committees to direct relevant agencies to decisively implement measures to prevent and address safety risks such as the use of high-powered light sources, lasers, kite flying, drones, and other obstacles that violate airspace height limits.

Local authorities must also strengthen control over birds, wildlife, and livestock around airport areas; and disseminate laws on aviation safety and security to the public, especially in areas near airports and adjacent roads.
