Building and promoting cultural and human values ​​is a difficult and long-term task that cannot be cut short or rushed, but requires perseverance and joint efforts from the entire political system, each family, community and the whole society.

At the 20th Congress of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, delegate Nguyen Viet Truong, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, made frank and responsible contributions to the issue of building and promoting cultural values ​​and people of Ha Tinh in the integration period.

According to Delegate Nguyen Viet Truong, in recent years, the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee has always identified culture as the spiritual foundation of society, an important endogenous resource and a driving force for sustainable development. From that awareness, Ha Tinh province has issued many major policies and guidelines to build and develop the culture and people of Ha Tinh. Typical examples are Resolution No. 18 of the Provincial Party Committee on Building and Developing Ha Tinh Culture and People in the New Period; Resolution No. 98 of the Provincial People's Council on Some Policies for Developing Culture, Sports and Tourism; successfully organizing the Provincial Cultural Conference - an important forum to affirm the political determination and will to act of the entire Party Committee in reviving culture.

However, the concretization of Resolution 18 of the Provincial Party Committee and policies on culture and people in recent times still has certain limitations. Mechanisms, policies and resources for culture have not been invested adequately. The potential and advantages of culture and people of Ha Tinh have not been effectively exploited.

School culture, family culture and social culture still have worrying manifestations. Ha Tinh's tradition of studiousness, revolution and diligence is a valuable asset, but in the period of renovation, we have not yet produced many outstanding scientists, managers and businessmen. The work of building a team of leaders, managers and cultural researchers has not been on par with the development requirements in the new period.

According to delegate Nguyen Viet Truong, in order to effectively build and promote the cultural values ​​and people of Ha Tinh, to truly become the spiritual foundation of society and the driving force for sustainable development, Ha Tinh needs to focus on solving four issues well.

That is to handle the contradiction between the goals of cultural and human development and the harsh rules of the market economy; to resolve the current situation between the high demands for cultural construction and development and the limited investment resources of the province; to harmoniously handle the relationship between traditional and modern culture and people; to build a healthy and modern cultural environment for the comprehensive development of people in the new era.

To effectively solve the above four problems, Delegate Nguyen Viet Truong proposed specific solutions.

Accordingly, Ha Tinh must continue to raise awareness and the Party's leadership role in building and promoting cultural and human values; harmoniously resolve the contradiction between the goals of cultural and human development and the harsh rules of the market economy; strengthen resources for culture and people, concretize policies with economic and social resources; build and develop Ha Tinh people who are both rich in tradition and effectively integrate and absorb progressive cultural values; continue to build and strengthen a healthy cultural environment from families, clans, agencies, schools, businesses to public spaces.
