As of the morning of September 22, no television station in Vietnam has the copyright to broadcast the Asian Futsal Championship qualifying round. Therefore, the matches of the Vietnam futsal team will not be broadcast on television. We will continue to update when there is official information. Fans can follow the matches of the Vietnam futsal team on Dan Tri newspaper.
The Vietnamese futsal team had a successful start with a 9-1 victory over the Hong Kong (China) futsal team in the opening match. Meanwhile, China lost 1-2 to Lebanon.
In terms of FIFA rankings, the Vietnamese futsal team is at the top of this group, currently ranked 26th in the world . This is the highest ranking in the team's history. In this group, Lebanon is ranked 54th, China is ranked 85th, and Hong Kong (China) is ranked 123rd.

According to AFC regulations, the top 8 teams and the 7 teams with the best results (out of 8 groups) will qualify for the final round of the Asian futsal tournament taking place in Indonesia early next year.
Therefore, if they win 3 points in the match against China, the Vietnamese futsal team will have a great chance to win a ticket to the Asian tournament. Meanwhile, the home team must win this match.
In the 2024 Asian Futsal Championship, the Vietnamese futsal team defeated China 1-0. However, we cannot be complacent because China will have home field advantage and high determination to regain hope.
Importantly, coach Diego Giustozzi and his team need to maintain focus and courage under pressure from the home crowd.
