Voters of Cam Pha City propose: Request the Provincial People's Committee to direct the acceleration of 2 slow-progressing projects in Cong Hoa commune, affecting production and economic development, and to put the project into operation soon to create livelihoods for people in the neighboring area and develop the local economy . Specifically: (1) Project for commercial breeding and shrimp feed processing using high technology (phase 1), since 2017, compensation for land acquisition has been completed but until now it has been left fallow, the project has not been put into operation; (2) Project for Slag Dump No. 2 of Mong Duong 1 Thermal Power Plant in Ha Tranh village.
Regarding the petition of voters of Cam Pha City, the Provincial People's Committee directs as follows:
(1) For the project of commercial shrimp seed production and high-tech shrimp feed processing (phase 1): Assign the People's Committee of Cam Pha City to continue to urge and request NG Cam Pha Seafood Joint Stock Company to urgently transfer funds to pay compensation for land acquisition and clearance to Hoang Hai Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery Development Support Company Limited within the committed time limit (before June 30, 2023). After the above deadline, if NG Cam Pha Seafood Joint Stock Company fails to fulfill its commitment to transfer funds, while ensuring the progress of project implementation, the City People's Committee shall consider and propose to withdraw and cancel the Project in accordance with regulations.
(2) Regarding the Slag Dump Project No. 2 of Mong Duong 1 Thermal Power Plant in Ha Tranh village: The Provincial People's Committee assigns the People's Committee of Cam Pha City to consider and handle subsequent issues according to current regulations based on the direction of the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Construction regarding the proposed withdrawal and cancellation of the approval of the location and detailed planning of the Slag Dump Project No. 2, Mong Duong 1 Thermal Power Plant in Ha Tranh village, Cong Hoa commune.
