Fruit and vegetable exports reached over 6.1 billion USD in 9 months

(GLO)- According to data from the Customs Department, in the first 9 months of 2025, Vietnam's fruit and vegetable export turnover will reach about 6.11 billion USD, an increase of 8.3% over the same period in 2024.

In September 2025 alone, our country's fruit and vegetable export turnover reached nearly 1.3 billion USD, an increase of 35.9% compared to August and an increase of 41% compared to the same period in 2024.

Vietnam’s fruit and vegetable exports recovered in September thanks to better control of quality and export processes. At the same time, businesses have made efforts to diversify markets and reduce dependence on traditional markets.

In recent times, China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, the US... continue to be Vietnam's major export markets. Of which, China continues to hold the leading position when accounting for about 60% of our country's fruit and vegetable export turnover. In September alone, export turnover to this market reached nearly 800 million USD.

With the achieved results and strong recovery from the market, the fruit and vegetable industry is expected to continue to set new records, striving to reach the 8 billion USD mark by the end of the year, exceeding nearly 1 billion USD compared to 2024.
