After more than 10 days of efforts with the Party Committee, government and people of Yen Bai city to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3, after the basic recovery work was completed, military officers and soldiers of the units returned to their units.
On the morning of September 22, despite the pouring rain, thousands of people in Hong Ha ward stood on Tran Hung Dao street to say goodbye to officers and soldiers of Division 316, Division 355, Brigade 168, Brigade 297, Brigade 604, Military Region 2 returning to their units, after many days of wading in mud, supporting people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.
After the historic rain and flooding caused by storm No. 3, more than 1,000 military officers and soldiers, with more than 12,000 working days and 325 vehicles were mobilized to overcome the consequences of floods in Yen Bai province.
Speaking at the meeting and farewell, Mr. Ngo Hanh Phuc - Vice Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee respectfully thanked the officers and soldiers for their sentiments and noble gestures, the strong military-civilian relationship, and the shining qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers".
