Journey of more than 3,300km
To celebrate the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day on September 2nd and mark the 70th anniversary of Yamaha Motor's establishment, Yamaha Motor Vietnam will organize a journey across Vietnam with the Grande. This is the most fuel-efficient scooter in the segment with engines from 50cc to 175cc.
Mr. Okutani Masahiro, General Director of Yamaha Motor Vietnam, shared that the Grande Touring 2025 journey will depart from Ca Mau and end in Ha Giang , with a total route of more than 3,300 km, going through 12 stages, connecting places with unique cultural, historical and natural imprints.

The Grande Relay Touring convoy departed on August 11 from the southernmost tip of Ca Mau, heading to Can Tho, visiting Hung Vuong Park, Cai Rang floating market, Ninh Kieu wharf and Can Tho bridge. The next day, the group checked in at Ho Chi Minh City before continuing their journey to Phan Thiet, Nha Trang and staying in Phu Yen.
On the third day, the Yamaha Grande group rolled along the Quy Nhon coast. Then, from August 14, the journey passed through Da Nang, Hue, towards Dong Hoi, then through Thanh Hoa and Vinh city. Before entering the final leg, the group stopped to visit the highlights of the capital and ended the journey in Ha Giang on August 17.

“What is special is that at each checkpoint, participants will be immersed in the unique atmosphere of each region, enjoy local cuisine, interact with the Yamaha motorbike enthusiast community, explore cultural heritage, and meet Yamaha dealers nationwide.
We believe that real experiences and real emotions will touch the hearts of users more deeply than any advertising campaign. Therefore, Yamaha chose to organize a real journey, because we want to spread a message that has a long-lasting vitality.

Grande Touring 2025 is not only a celebration, but also the beginning of a long-term development orientation, turning Grande into a symbol of modern femininity, dynamic, attractive, and not constrained by limits.
In addition, in terms of branding, we want to build a Yamaha image that has cultural depth and is connected to the community. And to do that, we choose to bring our brand and products out of their comfort zone, closer to the public through the journey", said the General Director of Yamaha Motor Vietnam.
Relay race to ensure safety
Notably, this cross-Vietnam trip with the Grande will be organized in a unique relay format, divided into many stages so that customers from all over the country can participate.

According to Mr. Tatara Kengo, Deputy Director of Sales and Marketing of Yamaha Motor Vietnam, such a relay race will enhance safety for customers participating in the journey:
“Safety and consistency are the top priorities when organizing a large-scale journey like Grande Touring 2025. All stages have been carefully surveyed by Yamaha, and closely coordinated with local authorities to ensure a safe experience for participants.

We have a technical logistics team that follows the convoy throughout the journey – ready to support technical inspections, refueling, troubleshooting, as well as basic medical support if necessary. Furthermore, the “relay” running format will ensure that drivers are rotated appropriately, without being overloaded or losing focus.”
Besides, through Grande, Yamaha Motor Vietnam also wants to express the message that using a scooter that was once considered only for urban areas can now conquer the cross-Vietnam route, thereby demonstrating its smoothness and durability.
