Yen Bai: Revenue from transportation, warehousing, postal and delivery services increased by 31.71% over the same period.

Yen Bai - In January 2025, revenue from transportation, warehousing, and postal delivery in Yen Bai province is estimated to reach nearly 260 billion VND, up 1.63% over the previous month and 31.71% over the same period last year.

Postal and delivery services have met the continuous demand for goods transportation to promptly serve customers during Tet.

Of which, the volume of goods transported in the whole province (non-state economic sector) including road and waterway reached 1,688 thousand tons; revenue reached 192,036 million VND. Compared to the previous month, it increased by 0.64% in tons, increased by 0.76% in revenue; compared to the same period, it increased by 23.97% in tons, increased by 30.76% in revenue.

Passenger transport services are estimated to reach 1,259.4 thousand people in January 2025; revenue is over 60,180 million VND. Compared to December 2024, the number of people increased by 4.31%, revenue increased by 4.55%; compared to the same period last year, the number of people increased by 36.54%, revenue increased by 36.13%.

For warehouses and transportation support services, due to the trend of demand for transportation of production materials, construction materials, and goods in the last months of the year, the estimated revenue of the entire transportation, warehouse, and transportation support services industry will increase. Estimated implementation in January 2025 will reach 7.5 billion VND, up 1.38% over the previous month; up 22.48% over the same period last year.

Regarding postal and delivery services, the demand for continuous goods transportation has been met to promptly serve customers during the Tet holiday. Domestic delivery and COD (cash on delivery) services remain stable and increase compared to the same period. Estimated implementation in January 2025 is 0.12 billion VND, up 3.43% compared to the previous month; up 50.61% compared to the same period last year.
